You've earned a total of 1,990 points. You have 3 cars, that's 798 points (assuming no safety upgrades). So ignoring points spent on crashes, you have roughly 1,192 points. That's enough to just get 4 more cars. No where close to "more points then I could need" to have a fully upgraded fleet to cover all the tracks and be competitive. Plenty of class A cars you could upgrade to be a better class A racer. Plenty of cars to upgrade to be competitive in class B, C, D, and E custom races.

I've earned over 5,000 points, and I still constantly struggle to have enough points to upgrade the cars I want (18 going on 19)

You should have 8 or 9 cars maxed out (7 class A, 1 class B being the Cos). I have three Honda NSX maxed with different set ups depending on the tracks.

I hit up some of the best in the racing game - Data, ChristmasBazaar, and ToxicMonkeyMZC for tips. They are very approachable and happy to help new racers. I am happy to help new racers, as well.

You're just doing officials, complaining about other people doing different things with their points and don't see the fun in that, so if there are changes about what you can do with points, you just use them for officials again and ignore a big part of racing once more. Why serve people that don't even see half the picture?

As far as I can tell you returned, you see on the surface not much has changed and start throwing things out there but maybe instead of throwing out "ideas" without much of a foundation take some time and observe a bit? Maybe play the whole field? Or maybe racing also isn't for you, that can be an option aswell.

I didn't see your first post since you edited it like a coward after you didn't get the echo chamber you hoped for. I have 12 maxed cars and I don't understand what your issue is here. A shame you think everyone should play the game like you want them to instead of what's offered to us which isn't broken so there's no need for a fix.

No it was the fact that everyone related it to maxed out cars. That's awesome and easy to do. My point was there should be an update to use points in other ways to benefit the racing part of the game. We all have the same shit same f**king cars same everything you join big races you join small races we all race the same thing unless you haven't figured out which cars to run in what race or tournament. Point was only the fact that some more actual racing factors should be considered. As well as crashes failures etc where's the actual racing aspect... But anyways it doesn't matter everyone clearly likes the basic system that everyone else around them is following as well. ... So much fun I guess

Simple solution, don't use the system and go play a simulation race game like Asetto Corsa. It's so sun gods awful boring for you why are you even in here trying to change it to something else, are you a government employee? The reality is you enjoy the race concept but you believe everything needs to be super complex, super involved, super hands on, naw. We can have simple brain off concepts and still have fun. Have fun in the system we all use or f**k off honestly.

Most of us responded too your claim that you already didn't have anything anymore to spend points on.

Quite certain everyone who responded here wants more things to be added too.

If there were race advantages that a person could buy with points, it would only benefit older racers. The grind to class A requires younger racers to save points. Most struggle to hit class A and have 266 saved to upgrade a car right away. After hitting class A, then the grind continues to earn thousands of points to fully upgrade and setup cars for each track. Only those that have already accomplished that can afford to spend points on other things. So you end up with racers who already have an advantage of high racing skill and a fleet of cars, now able to purchase even more advantages.
