Hello racers! Torn's most mediocre racing tournament is back for its 2nd edition. I will post the full rules later as I want to get registrations open ASAP but here is the quick version.
Aim:
Try to be as close to the middle of the racing pack as possible.
Dates:
Beginners (stock E) tournament - 14th-18th June
Main tournament - 21st-25th June
Time: 10pm TCT
Requirements:
Class C or below- Beginners
Over 10 RS - Main
Class B or A and below 10 RS - Either tournament
To join just send me an in game message (or post in this thread) telling me which tournament you would like to join. I won't ask for screenshots like other tournaments. This is because joining the wrong tournament will just make is harder for you to be average!

Registration will close in exactly a weeks time on 12th June at 7pm TCT

I've got some time now so I will explain the scoring system as it is going to be slightly different to last time. In each race, the player (or players if an even number of people show up) who gets the central time will get 1 point and the 1st place prize. The player one above and one below will get 3 points and the 2nd place prize. The next above/below will get 5 points and the 3rd place prize. The scoring will continue like this for the rest of the racers.
At the end of the competion, the racers with the least amount of point will win. There will also be a prize for the racer will the most average time (out of those who attended all races)
If someone crashes, they will get the time of the slowest racer + 1 second. If someone doesnt show up, they will get points equal to the total number of racers signed up and will no longer qualify for the time prize.
Here is an example of 2 races with 11 people signed up:

Prizes will be sent out in bulk at the end of the tournament. They are not set in stone but they are likely to be flamethrower for first, xanax for second and a can of energy drink for third. The overall prizes will be a donator pack for the top 3 plus the one with most average time (points will be used as a tiebreaker if needed)
