Happens all the time for me on the torn app or safari on iOS as well, although instead of crashing, it tends to reload. Sooo annoying.

Yeah it’s happening with me whenever there’s a mass amount of images/videos.
Currently running on an iPhone 12, ios 14.4 on Safari.
The phone manages just fine on other forums and with video sites etc. So I don’t see why a video or 2 on Torn would make such an impact.

Still an issue on IPhone X 14.4 ....
I can’t read over half the forum posts including the first page of this one. Works fine on the second page though.

Turn off forum signatures.
Also avoid visiting threads with a lot of youtube videos, gifs or other graphic heavy posts.
I play this game on a old pc and formerely a even older laptop ie both bought before 2010.
Old pcs and laptops dont do well when viewing some pages on these forums.
The windows 7 PC can usually handle lots of videos/gifs in the same thread but its slow as hell.
I wouldnt even bother trying to look at many threads on a smartphone. It WONT go well.

I was able to reproduce it on my iPhone 11 Pro Max iOs 14.6 Safari / Chrome. Was not able to get any logs for some reason.

I think it's and issue with iPhone GPU optimization and based on googling this issue started to appear after iOs v14 update.

don’t know if this would help but perhaps give mobile users an option to have all gifs/images hidden behind a spoiler block?
