I think torn start early when accepting bitcoin as payment for donator pack. I wonder what year exactly. Bitcoin not even popular back then. Now the price near 60k at it highest peak. I wonder how many bitcoin torn holding right now? Must worth billions now or at least.

Maybe a slightly niaive opinion, but surely it would be beneficial to Ched, that we DO do RMT? (Keep the torn economy's inflation stable)? Instead, pumping RL money into the game through donations, literally just adds money to the Torn economy?

If Python said they start 2015 with only few hundred per bitcoin, it worth lot recently. I wish i knew about bitcoin in 2015. I only knew about it in 2016 and worth like 2k back then. Ched has to pay for devs, bogie, hosting, advertising etc etc. This is his full time job & I assume his main(only?) source of income.
DP funded pay to win is SO inefficient. One SE costs like $80 IRL. That's like $180k just to match Deft. A GAK is like $4200... How many people are gonna drop that much on an online game? I know of 2 people who've spent close to $50k & if them doing so keeps Torn free for the masses & relatively cheap for the subscribers, then go for it. Legal RMT would ruin the economy.

If torn wants more money they should give better benefits to subscribers. Books and a DP value isn't enough. Raise the price of subscription if you must but give us something more.

They did add benefits in the last year. They added loot crates that contain exclusive clothing IIRC.
