Wildcat [2213930]
THIS IS A CONTINUATION OF THE "APOCALYPSE RP" BY YaziLoLOnline. EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENED IN THAT ROLEPLAY HAS HAPPENED IN THIS UNIVERSE.

Rumors tell of ancient magic. Of course, this magic is mostly thought to be mere fable. Those that believe in it have been insulted with terms such as crazy and maniac. Dark never spoke of this magic. He grew up in a post apocalyptic world, were it was nearly forgotten. He knows of this magic. He is tethered to it.

This magic... it is Darkness.

Discover the shards of Darkness. That your debt.

Character Entry:
Name: Dark
Sex: Male
Appearance: Black hooded cloak. Insignia on the back and left shoulder. Black mask, with darker lines down from the eyes. Right arm is exposed from the elbow down, showing gnarled scars and burns. Brown eyes, sometimes shifts to purple.
Equipment: Remington 700 BDL rifle with a scope, Makarov handgun.
Wildcat [2213930]
Dark stood, arms crossed, on a cliff, overlooking the remains of Earth. The apocalypse, brought on by the loss of the Third World War, left many people to fend fro themselves. "How do I find the other shards?" He seemed to have gotten an answer, yet no one else was around. "I suppose you're right," he said, turning away from the steep cliff.
Yazi [2139270]
"Where'd you wander off to?"
A few raiders were searching an old apartment complex for someone. They had to kill him. He was a menace to their ideas, their objectives.
"No sign of 'em!" One of the raiders called out.
"What do you mean?" A voice said, a hint of smugness in their voice. "I'm right here."
A gunshot rang out, one of the raiders falling on the dusty, carpet floor.
"He's here! Get him!"
In a flash, both raiders had their throats sliced, by a man wielding a superheated, bloodied dagger. The blood boiled before getting wiped off by a dirtied rag.
"What a shame. Wasting your time chasing a ghost is a bad idea."
The man went up a set of stairs, reaching the top of the building. As the sun made its way west, A golden sky crossed the wastes.

Character Entry:
Name: Yazi
Sex: Male
Appearance: Blond, messy hair, coupled with a beard of the same hue. Fit, athletic build. His outfit consists of a long, brown trench coat with a black trim, complete with brown, dusty pants and black boots. Wears a cowboy hat when out and about. Armed with a double barrel shotgun and a superheated dagger, alongside a revolver in certain cases.
Nationality: Australian
Biography: A soldier before the apocalypse, Yazi was a sharpshooter. Nowadays, he roams the wastes after supplies, allies and ammo. Oh, and raiders. By luck, he found a shard of Darkness after a massacre, but has yet to know if it does anything. (SOMEBODY TELL THE GUY, HE THINKS IT'S A NOVELTY THING!!!)
Wildcat [2213930]
A snake forms for a purple mist. It is black, baring dark purple markings along its back. This is Szietzun. She is a shard, and now she seeks out the other shards of Darkness. "There was a town not far from here. Maybe we should visit it, see if there isn't anything to salvage?" she suggested.
Dark simply nodded. He knew no one could hear her. No one but him could hear her. "To the town we go," he said, starting off on a winding path down the mountain's edge.
Yazi [2139270]
Yazi checked his pocket for the shard he'd found. He couldn't remember exactly where he got it from, but it involved caves.
"Huh?"
He dug further in his pocket, emptying it inside out.
"It's gone!"
A whisper entered his ear.
"I never left."
Turning around, Yazi saw that there was noone.
"I must be going insane. Either that or somebody's hiding from me.
He looked over the edge of the building, seeing a pile of rubbish below.
"Here goes everything..." He said.
He jumped off the edge of the building, landing in the trash pile with a loud CRASH.
"Note to self..." Yazi said, getting up. "Soften those falls."
"Yes," The voice said. "That would certainly help you."
Yazi gripped his shotgun, aiming around.
"Who's there?" He asked sternly. Nothing was there except the wind and some bugs.
"MMM.... Ignore it, Yazi... You've survived the end of the world... You can ignore a voice in your head."
Wildcat [2213930]
Dark followed the jagged cliff face down to the sandswept ground. 'Only about a quarter mile,' thought Dark.
"Easy enough for you," said Szietzun, who was now laying across his shoulders and neck.
"Yep."
Yazi [2139270]
As Yazi walked the barren streets, things looked desolate. Humanity had survived the apocalypse, sure... But humanity was hardly there. There were more mutants, shamblers, scrapers... It may as well be a harder version of survival games.
"But you'll make it, won't you?"
Yazi stopped. He hadn't said anything, and he was answered. Whatever it was, was inside his head. Reading his thoughts like a story. Screw trying to find what was behind closed doors, this thing had a skeleton key.
"Strange analogy. You're quite the imaginative one."
Wildcat [2213930]
Dark laid foot on the asphalt. It had a very different feel than the sand he was used to, but wasn't a foreign one either. He stopped, and listened. Only sound was the wind blowing through the old buildings.
Wildcat [2213930]
Dark started along again. Not much was left in the town. A few bodies, and a small cache, but nothing else worth salvaging. Dark had noticed that the bodies weren't very old. He drew his sidearm and disengaged the safety, scanning the immediate area before turning around. No one was around.
"Well someone's around," stated Szie.
"I know," responded Dark.
Yazi [2139270]
Yazi heard footsteps. And voices.
"Ah, hell..." He muttered, readying his shotgun.
"That's likely going to cause more harm to a wall than a target," The voice said. He ignored it.
"Whoever's there, you can make yourself known or you'll be nothing but bits!"
Wildcat [2213930]
Dark scanned the area he heard the voice from. 'That sounded familiar,' thought Dark.
"I thought so too," confirmed Szietzun.
Dark walked toward the voice. "I don't suggest trying that," he said, spotting the man.
Yazi [2139270]
I know this man, Yazi thought. I think.
"Oh, do you now?" The voice questioned.
Yazi moved towards where he heard the voice. before coming face to face with its source.

Yazi smirked, tipping his hat.
"Hey there."
Wildcat [2213930]
"Hello again." Szie slid around Dark's arm, observing the man. He did indeed look familiar. 'Yazi,' thought Dark, sensing her troubled thought.
Yazi [2139270]
Yazi saw the look on Dark's face.
"Oh, wait. You might just not recognize me yet."
He took off the hat, holding it in his left hand.
"There. You can see my face and hair now. You know it's me."
Wildcat [2213930]
Dark holstered his handgun. "Yazi. Long time no see," replied Dark, offering a handshake. "Been too long," he said with a smile. Szie retreated back into the purple mist then into the scar.
Yazi [2139270]
"Too long indeed," Yazi put the hat back on and returned the handshake. "How's this screwed up world been treating you?"
Wildcat [2213930]
"Not too bad. Still breathing, so I really can't complain," responded Dark. "How about you, Watcher?" he asked, returning the question.
Yazi [2139270]
"Same as you, but now I'm a cowboy."
He gestured to hit outfit.
"I'd always wanted to dress up like a cowboy. Now I can. Best part of the apocalypse, other than triple barreled shotguns."
Wildcat [2213930]
"Or quadruple barreled shotguns," Dark said, reminding Yazi of when they first met the Doctor when Yazi was building his quad barrel shotgun.
Yazi [2139270]
"That was unstable. We need one that doesn't have the recoil of a goddamn jumbo jet."
He noticed the scar on Dark's face.
"Was... was that always there?" He asked.
