New rule?

This changed almost 12 weeks ago, with the release of the new stocks. You were still actively playing the game throughout that period, when the players were up in arms and the forum was filled with rants, and were still playing when they introduced the new 15 second mug protection window upon landing to combat this.

I'm guessing you got reamed before they then added in the 15 second mug protection a few weeks later though?

My point wasn't that he didn't protect himself from the mugs or still took ages with the additional mug protection, but that he was moaning about a "new change" to stop buying stocks in the air, when he had been playing the game for the 2 1/2 months since it changed.

Edit: He had flown another 180 or so times in that period, and made close to 2 billion. I have no idea if he really thought this was a new rule and got caught out when trying to fly all his money back at once thinking he would put it into stocks, or just a rant that it used to be safer, he knew about the change and the extra mug protection, but it wasn't enough and he still lost a load due to this "stupid effing change" :)

I got done last week.

I landed, I clicked faction (to dump my money) and was duly mugged

My point is this, with or without the 15 second window it is impossible to store money 'safely' due the arse system that is now been created. They've created a backdoor 'muggers paradise' if you know how to do it...

I've kept with the faith the past 3 or 4 years that the game is a marathon and not a sprint but I'm sorry, my patience have about run out...

Also your other post, there have been no changes to the api, the only changes made were a 15 second protection window + slow attacks (only 1 hit per second)

Making it a lot harder to mug, not easier
It's so bad now that you can actually fly with your bazaar open, land, close the bazaar and store money with time to spare

you should level up, 625 hp means people only need to hit you one time, anybody at your stats with more hp then you will win by just one hit, while you have to do several.

Guess people still slow AF.
