Marlon used to be online a lot. He liked to post lots of thread full of memes.
Marlon also had a faction called Art of War. He was the only member for years.
About 18 months ago, he decided to add a few people, possibly when recent changes made it clear that one-man factions were not advantageous.
And then he went mostly inactive. It looks like he logged on maybe once a month.
In April, some more people joined the faction and the older members left. So the oldest person besides Marlon was now Sanskka (from April).
Marlon went inactive again, and this time, he was away over 30 days.
There is an automated process in Torn. If you are the lead of a faction with more than one active member and you are gone 30 days, the faction leadership goes to the co-lead.
And if there is no co-lead, it goes to the oldest member of the faction who logged on recently.
This process exists to ensure if a lead quits or is otherwise away, the faction members aren't "stuck" and unable to do some actions.
Since Marlon was offline over 30 days and there was no co-lead, the faction lead role went to Saskka, who effectively now owns the faction.
Now if Marlon had been generally active, had a lot of money stored and had worked hard to build the faction, I might be more sympathetic. But Marlon really didn't do much and he had no money. He has 0 stats except for strength.
I personally think Saskka will do a better job of running the faction. Maybe if Marlon is more active, they'll take him back as a member, lol.

If you go away for a long time and don't let people know, expect to get kicked from your job, your faction etc. That's the reality of Torn.
Being a faction leader shouldn't exempt you from that reality.

Marlon has been looking for a way to get some content so he can showcase some memes, this is a bit on an extreme way to have something to post about
In a long term game like this it can be hard to 'maintain' things ie even do the basics.
Marlon has played the game for years. Many many years. The enthusiam does and can wane. Thats just the way how it is.
The once intrepid marlon, our heroic little spammy field mouse squeaking away on the forums and getting urgent field mouse business done on a daily basis is long long long gone .. He has been on autopilot for years.
Its now got to the point where he cant even login once a month to keep his faction...
He still plays the game. But not much and he probably doesnt get much done when hes here ...
Our once intrepid field mouse now spends most of the year hibernating im afraid...
I have played the game since 2007 everyday barring server crashes and one day last year when i had to have a operation, a pretty big operation..
Sometimes when im here i dont get a whole lot done .. i click gym and crimes everyday and do missions and do bits and pieces with trading.
Our intrepid little hero marlon most days just doesnt log in at all.
Im not on autopilot but some days im close to it. Marlon doesnt have a auto pilot, he has lost the will to play the game.
