Why try if your progress is erased every few months? I would have quickly tired of the game and moved on if this were a thing.
Why you trying to make Torn like other games? Why not just play the other game you're referring to? Like really, what sense does it make to play 2 different games only to try to make them more like each other? Kind of defeats the purpose of playing different games, doesn't it?

if you want to play a game that resets every month or so play final earth. leave torn alone

Well the other game kindda makes sense because it's team game play. I mean to be on top player you gotta be in the top team. Which makes every reset interesting because everyone gets to switch teams whatever.
Torn is more like solo game. So resetting it makes no sense. You can infact be on top simply by becoming solo. It's hard and not fun but very possible. So like any similar solo games like clashes kindda game. Yeah there are factions, alliances, groups, teams whatever. But personal growth is basically up to personal activity and strategy.
Also don't you think torn is a bit slow as it is now? Resetting will be boring

entire reason i play torn over the reset games, is that torn doesn't reset.
lol. the reason why this is in gd is because I'm curious, not because i want this to be implemented. it would be a bad idea, but looking at how ched is implementing things to curb the inactivity growth, it would be fun to see inactives logging in and their account are at state zero. XD
This, imagine spending as much as some have on the game just for your account to be reset, if you could take over the cash from dps you’ve bought maybe, but then there would be no point in restarting.
