So far we have many different stat decreases from temp items but I think this idea of negative effects can go further.
Some suggestions:
Opponent loses their last used weapon slot for 5 turns
Opponent's weapon loses 25% of Damage
Opponent's weapon loses 25% of Accuracy
Any debuffs on you are instantly removed
Opponent's weapons' rate of fire are reduced by 65%

One use attachments could also work:
Carrying one extra magazine
Melee sharpener for 25% more damage
+10 Accuracy for the first 2 turns

If anyone else has any other suggestions feel free to post below!

Number one is a little too powerful (should definitely be fewer turns), and I can't really think of an item that would realistically do that.

Number two, well... I can see where you're coming from, but it really doesn't make sense to add, plus, again, what item would do that?

We already have number three... A few different versions of number three, at that

Four is absolutely overpowered, without a doubt. Perhaps it removes one debuff rather than all of them.

Rate of fire... This is something I've thought about a couple of times before, and I really think the only way to implement this is gun jams, the frequency of which could be determined in part by the weapons quality (very minorly, I should say).

We already have extra clips, it's a weapon mod.

Melee mods have been suggested a couple of times before (recently too) and they're not a bad idea, but take what you have here for example, how would sharpening a hammer or a baseball bat or a madball work?

+10 accuracy on the first turn, we don't quite have +10, but we do have +5 and +7.5 on the first turn, and if you combine that with other accuracy mods (tripod, scope, grip, etc), you can get pretty damn close to +10.
