It has always bothered me that I have to go to settings then some page within etc. to switch how I want my revive to be at that moment.
Even more so having to go there just to find out what its currently set at.

Why not simply add a 3 button switch ..hell you can make it look like a stoplight
left/green = everybody can revive you
middle/orange/yellow = friends and faction
right/red = nobody can revive you

Simply click what you want and done, also you can instantly see what your current settings are ..be highlighted in some way.

My pro paint skills for an example...

Or as TCNICN suggested maybe something like this on the hospital page alone.

Maybe I’m just used to the current system but it’s not too much effort to go into the setting for a revive, seems a bit niche or atleast doesn’t save enough time to warrant the development time

What development time?
Something like this could be implemented in a few hours easily.
The system is already there .... all you have to do really is slap in some GUI elements and link the stuff together.

It might seem niche to some, and I suppose it is depending on how you play the game. But it could help traders to avoid buy mugs and a number of other things, some actually revive just to mug you right after if they know you have money on hand. Knowing instantly for sure what settings you have and being able to flip them instantly should there be need, would only help.
If you wanted, its possible for the devs to even make an actual option in the settings menu to choose whether to have this sort of flip switch available to you or not on your basic menu. Though that would be far less likely and would take some more time to code ... but shouldn't take more then a week. It would almost be the same as systems already seen in doctorn/torntools where you choose to add quick links or hide existing ones. Instead of doing it from the extension, it would do it from the games own settings menu then.

I understand it wouldn’t be much but considering CT has been out for years and still needs development, crimes 2.0 hasn’t been out for years etc.
Torn has an issue of over promising and under developing and this is the kind of update that adds to the pile, just a quick update that delays the more urgent ones.

I like the idea of not having to go to settings for that option - but i dont think it should be added to the sidebar (its not used nearly often enough)
Maybe add a toggle at the top of the hospital page instead?

That would be perfectly fine as well IMO.
It was only an example after all, anything is better then the current placement "deep" in the settings menu.

I really like this idea. If you are in a war and constantly being attacked, it would be nice to be able to quickly turn your revives on or off to help manage your cooldowns.

I often have to go to settings just see what its currently set at as keeping up with it is just impossible if you do switch a lot.

I don't know if something like this will ever be put into the game from the game creators. However, this could be scripted into something like Torn Tools. I haven't checked the userscripts yet, but something like this might already be available somewhere. If not, maybe hitting up the people who made Torn Tools could find a way to code it into Torn Tools.

I feel like it's one of those things you don't really think about until you are in a war or something where you'll be wanting to change it frequently. Same thing with knowing what your current revive chance is. I thought that suggestion would of taken off like crazy, but apparently not enough people see a need for it. Which I guess they don't unless they are at war or are dealing with heavy bounties, lol.
