I don't like the Republicans. I think they're a bunch of pussies who don't do shit. But none of them are saying it was peaceful. What they are saying is it wasn't an "Armed insurrection that threatened Americas Democracy at its very core!" It was a Riot. A riot by a bunch of f**king idiots who clearly had no goal outside of causing some trouble. There was never ANY chance that they would some how succeed. There was no way "Trump would be made president". A lot of the people who went in the capital weren't even violent.

The police were slow to respond. Pelosi turned down extra protection. IF they were as armed as people try to make it out, or as blood thirsty violent, they could have killed people, and just torched the entire capital. They certainly had the numbers.

So, maybe it's not "the republicans" lying about it being peaceful, maybe it's the left and the media acting like it was this history changing event the likes of which we have never seen. ALL THE WHILE they ignored the summer riots. Not giving a sweet and salty shit about the court houses, Police precincts and so on being burned to the ground.

SOME of the people in the capital where there as just tourist, meandering around without really knowing what they were doing. Old people and the such, but there was a riot that took place. There was violence. A woman was shot and killed, and a lot of people got injured.


To call it an insurrection, though, is nothing more than propagandist lies to try to divide the country more.

As for the capitol attack, there are enough videos to find of people beating security officers with steel bars etc , it was a violent attack. There is a reason Republicans don't want it to be researched, if it was not violent they probably would have wanted it.

I am sure the Capitol Police and others involved in the stupidness from the past 8 months are under constant watch and questioning. I am sure the pressure is intense and that kind of culture will bring out some dark thoughts. I feel for the family and friends he left behind.

No one is saying the riots that broke out from the blm protests is peaceful....They're saying 90% percent of the protests kept peaceful.
