Someone, probably from my old faction, threatened and bountied my old company director telling them to fire me and my spouse saying to divorce me, needless to say neither of those things happened and we actually had a laugh about it.
I'm glad my director was tough about it and didn't wuss out, I can imagine it's tough being put in that position simply because you own the company.

Years ago, Someone routinely contacted my faction lead and my company director, wherever I happened to be, to try to get them to kick me. I know this because some of them shared the conversations with me (which they found humorous).
No one ever kicked me from a job or faction because they were pressured to do so. I did choose to leave a faction once because the younger players were being targeted on my account.
Are directors and leads sometimes asked to kick someone? Yes.
Do they do it? Well, it depends. Some will flat out refuse to even consider it. Some will look at the situation and then decide.
My personal thoughts are -- it depends. Ultimately, I wouldn't remove someone because I was asked to do so. Being asked would cause me to review the person's activities and history (most likely using API data). If I didn't like what I saw, then I might remove them. I'd say this is more important for a faction, where a history of bad behavior could cause problems for a faction.
However, in cases of a personal grudge, I'd only do it if the person asking was one of my closest friends, and I felt they had a solid case. I certainly wouldn't do it for money.

I would say the most common company that this happens to is the private security one. Since they got a perk that makes it impossible to bounty a target.
