With a broken heart, the DA family has to report we lost another great member of the Torn community, Stormcast.
Stormcast is probably most widely known for his love of Torn racing. He was always obsessed with it and loved it from the start. He was the first to win a Bugatti and loved all of the player run racing comps. He wrote many racing guides and was always happy to give racing advice to anyone with questions.

To tell my story of Stormcast I have to start in a very unusual place. Torn Lite on Facebook. I had been playing Torn maybe a year when Torn Lite came out. I figured it was a great place to start fresh and be a top player. That’s where I met many long time Torn friends including Stormcast. Yes, Torn Lite ended up being lame and died a slow horrible death when the developers (correctly) moved their focus to the main Torn Respo release, but take my word for it Torn Lite was AWESOME back in it’s hay-day. We had epic chains that lasted for days and the biggest rival on the server was Green_Revolver. If you can’t beat them, join them, so we eventually talked him into joining our Lite faction called “The Saints”.
From Torn Lite we all joined Evo on main Torn and when that faction had a split our stronger Torn friends went to places like JFK. We didn’t meet the minimum battle stats so there were 5 of us: Stormcast, Green_Revolver, DizzyDee, UrbanMenace, and KPCSlor who spun off to run Puscifer’s faction called Devastation. We renamed it The Saints after our Torn Lite faction with Stormcast as the main leader and we’ve been running factions together since. It’s been a fun roller coaster Torn journey together: The Saints merged into DA, The Saints split off and is now Cata, we’ve lost friends, we’ve gained awesome new friends in the DA leadership team like HenkiePuk, Silver_Rose, NZSAS, and more! Stormcast has always been passionate about Torn and was a great member of our leadership teams. He could hold a grudge for years, but was one of the nicest guys in the game if you weren't on his shit list =)
How do you explain to why you’re crying over the death of someone you’ve never met in RL, wouldn’t recognize if they walked past you in the street, never heard their voice, only communicate with in game and on discord, but you still consider them one of your closest friends? That’s one of the many wonderful things about this crazy game we play called Torn and you all know what I’m talking about.
Even though we were both honor bar whores and I’m saving up for the last networth medal, Stormcast always told me to “Quit being a cheap ass and buy some SE’s!” I’m still going to be a cheap ass and an honor bar whore, but this ones for you Storm:
You pick up your dumbbells and start curling them. You gained 22,447,162.60 strength at the expense of the dumbbells!
You now have 2,267,163,422.26 strength and a cooldown of 05:59:55.
