Not all 10* LS owners are scumbags! I own one (i'm not working there now, but will be back in a week or so), we charge less than 5 mil a week tax (just enough to cover our advertising). DaHoodRider has been making a bad name for lingerie stores, and I'm hoping he focuses elsewhere soon. As I've said in the forums before, we wish we could hire more people, but there is no turnover. Our employees have been with us since we were 6*, and while we'd love to see some turnover to help people get their merits and travel cash, I want to reward their loyalty. i'm sure someone will get bored flying at some point and we'll have an opening.

Can I take you up on this in 100 or so days after I finish all edu and get the stocks? Unless OP does of course xD

Definitely not common practice, taxes yes, but not on this scale. Two directors gave statements on what they do:

One charges PI upkeep.
The other charges under 5 million/week

Previously worked in company, charged 60-90m/month. Director demanded tax early and would not take responsibility if the company dropped to 9*, nor would they refund the tax, instead told them to blame the person with the lowest effectiveness. Fired after refusing to buy trains on top of their monthly fee.

I am sorry to read about what had happened to you Janick. I hope you will find another LS Job soon with an amazing director and fellow staff.
I guess I am lucky, I joined a brand new LS a few weeks ago, and we are now at 7*. The director is an amazing person. No taxes, we get paid and trained at no extra cost.
I am very thankful for the job, and glad I made the choice I did when I joined.
