So I was busy and blocked 2 people off coz the chats are repeatedly popping up . Now I'm trying to unblock them but I'm unable to .

See the block button it didn't change its colour

Clicking the block button again just closes the chat.
Tried clearing cookies and cache used another device logged in and out but didn't work.

Is it just me or is it happening to everyone else

As for the other side they confirmed they didn't block back

open "People" chat window and there is a "Blocked" tab with name of everyone you blocked, you can hit the X button next to them to unblock them

For unblocking someone, go to the People tab:

And then click the cross next to their name under Blocked list:
