It has happened to me twice now:
Someone I haven't talked to at all or in a long while drops me a chat. Then they ... minimize it? Close it? I don't know.
When I try to respond, it says I can't because I haven't interacted with them or they blocked me. At first, I did assume it was a block, but the second time it happened, I reloaded the page, tried to send a message again and it worked.
