I came up with a variation on the regular number games, with a prize pool to pay out winners. Enjoy playing! :)
Rules
The count starts at 1. The poster below must increase the count by 1 on every post.
If you post and notice that somebody has posted before you, please edit your post to reflect the correct number (unless it’s a winning post, see below).
You cannot post twice in a row.
The aim is to be the poster who posts a multiple of 10.
To win a prize, you must post the next number in the chain, which must be a multiple of 10, followed by the word CLAIM.
To qualify for the prize, your must have posted the correct number in the sequence, you must follow that number with the word CLAIM in bold or capitals, and your post must remain unedited.
For every multiple of 10 reached, the active prize will be 1% of the current prize pool (see 2nd post).
The prize does not have to be claimed. For every multiple of 10 reached before a claim, the active prize will increase by 1% of the current prize pool.
Therefore, it’s beneficial for players to work together to raise the number count before claiming, to ensure a higher prize!
Examples
A claim at number 10 receives 1% of the total prize pool (see below)
A claim at number 100 receives 10% of the total prize pool
A claim at number 250 receives 25% of the total prize pool
When a prize is claimed according to the rules above, the next poster should start the count fresh from 1.
