Illegal travel
So, I was in the shower, and thought of my next flight to China. Then it hit me: my spouse's private island's rental period was about to end this week, which led me to think f ways I can safely store immediately accessible money so that I can rent the next one. I thought of a few, then realised it would be so much easier if you could sneak onto a private jet instead. But what if you could? It'd make a brilliant new crime option!
Sneak onto international flight
Economy class- 10 nerve
Private Plane- 15 nerve
Private Jet- 20 nerve
Business Class- 25 nerve
Or something like that... Obviously, it'd be way too easy for older members with high CE to do these and take advantage of the crime, so what if you lower the chance and up the risk? You have certain chances of success depending on the distance of the destination, regardless of CE, and if you fail, you go to jail... I think this could add an interesting aspect to traveling. If you really want to spice things up, make it so you'll need to sneak onto the plane to return too! Or you can have the option to rather just pay for the return ticket...

EDIT
What if you get deported back to torn, items get confiscated AND jail time? That should be pretty interesting...... Maybe being deported could even be a merit? Idk...
COMMENTED SUGGESTIONS (IN MY UNDERSTANDING)
smuggle more items than capacity
overseas jail
different security levels for each country

I like the premise to this a lot... activating a flight through a crime... I think the balancing and function would need to be a little different from the OP though... it would make for a good 20n crime to …
Might be interesting...
that's actually a great idea ngl.

a clever idea that could contribute greatly to the game
I don't think there's a way to restrict them from using meds to get out of the hosp and would probably be too much to create it just for this event. I like the idea but instead of hosp it would probably be jailing on fail, maybe without losing CE or very little kinda like OC's.
well said! in case of failure, ull be imprisoned for like 2_4hours, this can provide a very good way to use up the nerve that can be wasted on the long trips like traveling to china or UAE or SA

Deporting sounds interesting; lose the items, have to wait for the flight time back, and get hard-to-bust jailed on top of it all. Might be a bit overkill for some simple flying, but R+ anyway.
I'm not 100% behind the "sneak onto a plane" crime (maybe 60% behind it) because once you have a PI w/ airstrip (which most people at least rent), there'd be no point of sneaking onto anything but a business class flight, which would have to have a very high fail rate to keep high NNB people from just having free BCT flights. And if the fail rate was too high, no one would do the crime really. But I do like the direction this is going in.
While on the topic, perhaps we could spice up being abroad as well? Use nerve to attempt to smuggle more than your allowed flying capacity at risk of being jailed (if this were to give crime experience, then there should be a nnb hit on fails; if not, then no nnb hit). Say you have the option to buy 29 of xxx abroad, and can attempt to smuggle 10 extra or so for some amount of nerve. A fail would result in being jailed abroad, which would require you to wait or be busted by someone else (who would be jailed for a fail as well). Since you can't use items aborad, LBCs wouldn't work. Or a fail could result in you being deported as you suggested :D

Uh... Yeah. Actually, yeah! Hell yeah, I'm for this! I have never traveled nor do I plan to anytime soon, but f**k yeah, this should 100% be a thing! And then you should have to then spend the nerve to sneak on on the return trip. And different countries could have stricter travel security making it harder in some countries (like Switzerland). f**k yeah, this is an excellent idea.

Overseas jail would be cool
Ooh, adding on the Elizabeth's thing, maybe under lvl15s could try to attempt this crime too! So, New Player Chat level holders can travel. Or level holders in general... just a thought.

Love the idea short of a hospital sentence that cant be commuted. Terrible precedent on that part.
If the idea is to up risk, the player could just be banned from the airport for xx time instead.

And yes, items should definitely be confiscated.

After 10 minutes of staring, I found it! I now see the 'R+'!
