Just wondering. If you have 2 PIs, can you use the vault in the other PI if the one you're using is filled to the max?

Yes you can. Works the same way with vaults in palace and castle as well.
Yup, but as stated, you need to fire staff so that you can move out of one property so that you can go into the other to access it
What If you have a spouse. Still need to fire staff?
The person who is renting/owns the property would have to fire the staff as mentioned above. However, the spouse is free to move as and when.

instead of worrying about storing your money, worry about spending it or investing it. storing money is a 100% waste.
Storing money is something people do when people have plans for: buying company they can't fully buy yet, max out their bank but waiting previous bank investment time to end, gamble, personal conflicts, event, or getting ready for book training.
Yeah investment is always good but cash is cash. Can't gamble or pay bounties/ revives with stock shares. Spending just for the sake of spending is 100% a waste.
