Until two days ago I found items on the torn map. Since yester I find none.
What changed?
- raised my awareness twice
- normally I only use my android to login, yesterday I used a laptop browser for the first time for my first happy jump
Can anyone explain or help?
It's literally a random number generator, sometimes you find stuff, sometimes you don't.
I believe its all random. (Luck factor)
Check daily, smile if you find something.
As above, it's just luck. However you can do some things to increase your chances of item finds. Read more about awareness (and how to increase it) on the Wiki -

I check once a week with TornPDA's tools. Sometimes I find 2 or 3 items. Sometimes it's just 1. More often there's nothing there, though.
Don't spend points on Awareness. It's not worth it. Play the long game, and you'll get the 100 items found medal eventually.
I have 10/10 in awareness. I'd say it's worth it.
