I'm not paying $60 on a video game that's, "different" Than the other 2 games on there. Every game should add something at least a little new to it, be it a newer engine, better graphics, etc.
  • R6:Siege adds a tactical, breaching feeling keeping every game tense
  • CS:GO has little sight ins, and requires a lot of map memorization
  • Overwatch has a large amount of characters and abilities
  • TF2 requires an understanding of every character's meta, and loadouts
  • Every black ops game added something different to its mechanics making it fresh every game (even if they weren't all good)
Etc. etc. You get the point. So, tell me what sets this apart from modern warfare? And Cold War? I get it, it's WW2 styled, yay. But my smol brain doesn't admire the nice graphics, or the old-style charm of ww2 games. It really only thinks of one thing when I play shooters, and it's to shoot ppl and try not to die lol. It feels like this game came later than both other games that it doesn't bring enough stuff to the table for me to actually Like Any of it. I've already paid $120 for the first two games, you really think I'm ready to pay ANOTHER $60 to play a third COD game?

Activision already blows my mind with how many microtransactions they try to force across my face every time I open COD. Battle passes, new skins, old skins, blueprints, etc. I am NOT buying vanguard just for a couple extra hours of fun time before I'm ultimately bored and everyone pressures me to buy the next game in the series. Waste. Of. Money.

Just bought it a few days ago. Finished up the campaign and playing multiplayer now. Haven't really played any FPS in many years but overall I like it. I was a big fan of World At War when that came out.

I'm getting kind of scared because it seems to me that we are not getting any really good games anymore. Haven't really played a "great fps" since battlefield 1 (in terms of big franchises) otherwise its probably CS:GO which still delivers the good experience today, even tho they are very much not alike at all.

Its this game good? Or does it feel like a nother CoD copy?

I payed a solid 60-80 bucks for a game that has dlcs come out every year that cost another 20 or 40 bucks to buy. At least I don't have buy a new game each time buts its content gets removed to make space for newer content. But it gets expensive.
