The number that appears on your profile is the number of people who have you on their friends list, not the other way around. To add someone to your friends list, you can go to their profile page and click the + button under actions.

Also, you can try looking in your “Recent” tab of the people icon. It’ll show you people you’ve had message exchanges with.

Yeah all sorted thanks again. Im obv. still new here it was bugging me had friend on list but didnt say who. I undastand wots wot now. Not exactly in a rush to meet ppl/add frends im here to play.
