So, a couple questions that could prove to be very useful for anyone who knows anything about blackjack.
1. Do we know how many decks are used for the card pool?
2. Do we know how frequently cards are reshuffled in?
3. Do we know for sure that the blackjack is not rigged?
- I'm not asking if you think it is rigged because you lost a lot of money, I'm asking if it is certified fair play such as sites like pokerstars that received certificates of authenticity.
I haven't seen any reason to assume anything other than one deck shuffled every time
It says in the wiki or something, it's 8 decks and shuffles every hand.
Changed Blackjack to shuffle deck after every game.
- Changed Blackjack to use eight decks instead of one.
I have read he's got it rigged some other way also, but idk how.
1. Its code not real cards, and if you are to believe the dealer has random cards then think again, many times its been said the dealer usually draws a 9,10 or face card 85% of the time. Its suppose to be multiple decks, but its code so there is no way to prove either way.
2. Shuffled every hand, but again, cannot prove it.
3. Win to loss ratio is horrendous, they even had to add a warning. It is biased towards the dealer.
Few other things to note:
Although its claimed the game has a 0.99 win/loss ratio this is a fair ground calculation, the real ratio currently is 0.58. Simple math loss/overall games not win/loss. But a .99 ratio makes the figures look better, I mean that's almost a guarantee you aren't going to lose much ! Same with other games, get your calculators out (or Excel) and see for your self !
It had also been mentioned in previous patches notes - quite some time back that the game was being monitored and could be adjusted in favour of the players, which instantly tells you it has a coded bias (we already knew this, it isnt random) so please do not download the real world strategies. So many people have posted them here before, sworn by them and made all sorts of claims then left within a few months with negative networth.
Also, the cards aren't real, there is no ball in roulette and there are no dice in craps. you are playing a coded bias which looks very pretty, you may have a great series of games and make a winning, but as you will find out, the casino is designed to remove money from Torn, not increase it.
Do not try and compare Torn to a real life gambling online site as well, they are bound by gambling laws due to real money being used. they will have genuine percentages of payouts.
RR, Poker and Bookies are the ones you'll have an unbiased game in...apparently !
Lastly, I wish you all the good luck and hope you prove me wrong !
Blackjack is definitely rigged in favour of the game very highly would stay away from it if I was you, I know the house is always going to be more likely to win but torns house is a different kind of rigged, which ever code they use for statistics of blackjack and hands it’s definitely not real world chances if you keep a log of all you games and hands.
For example out of my last 56 losses in blackjack, 25 of them the dealer hit 21, both natural and 3+ cards! That’s close to 50%! Not completely impossible but by real world standards you would say that’s coming pretty close to being statistically impossible
Out of my last 70 wins I got a total of 21 just 8 times.
That chances of getting some form of 21 as the winning hand are somewhere around 7.5%?
So out of torns winning hands, a very impressive 45% of them hit 21 and out of my winning hands and by real world standards an above average 11% of them were 21
Of course it's rigged. And I'm an idiot for returning to the table every time, thinking the odds have changed.

It bothers me because blackjack is a game I enjoy and torn sure knows how to take advantage of that. I’ve even donated and lost real money to blackjack
Not only is the blackjack game fixed but the casino as a hole is fixed that goes for poker as well as RR. The casino is one of the ways that they take excess money out of torn so that it has a viable economy. Now with that said you can do very very well even though the games are fixed as to me it fills like the code will eat money from several people and in doing so it must release some of the money back in to the game or the stock of the casino would rise up with no holding it back the trick is to find out what has been happening on the tables and the slots and play the game only with money you can afford to lose and not waist your DP money. Or your rent or the money you owe Duke .
On a similar note I would like to know if there are any players who have studied the casino code or if there has ever been a script that watches the. Stock of the casino and the amount of money it takes in and pay out
Black Jack is rigged....but I think the subs get a bonus over donators, just like everything elsse...it really is about keeping the cash flowing. imo
i am certain there have been adjustments.. to increase the house "odds" as such, i have downloaded an entire years worth of BJ hands and one day will figure out how or just take the time to build a spreadsheet with the results of each hand..most importantly i want to look at the opening cards dealt to the dealer vs opening cards to me... at a minimum it is 85% Face or 10 up for the dealer..at best 50% for me, maybe the next long flight overseas i'll just suck it up and do it.. its just data entry..
i have stopped playing BJ with a 750m advantage after giving back over 7b in winnings, and have stopped with Slots as well being up 16b.. i may keep playing low stakes slots just to use the tokens for the refill merit.. but there is no point playing against such a stacked system..
I lived in Atlantic City area most of my life and know very well the real life odds of these games..and worked with many of the execs in those casinos.. i'd gamble at a casino any day with far better odds of winning than in torn.
The odds are adjusted daily, or even hourly, as a money sink. The odds are not 'real world' by any means, if you have played BJ in any real life casino it becomes pretty obvious that the odds here favor the house by a much larger margin.
Blackjack is not a viable way to make money in Torn.
Remember there must be at least 2 Decks there are shuffled every game. I do believe the odds start the dealer having a natural is too high than normal.
