How do you get them? Specifically the torn ornaments? Also, Some minigames that I do well in do not give me the ornaments. Why? Really confused here.

Not completely random. They are specific. The Cat ornament, comes from Santa Claws (the mini game), the Rope ornament, Hangman, Wreath, from Christmas Wreath, Present ornament, present picker, etc. (the others are snowball, gingerbread man, Word (Noel), Typing, and Garland …
Most of the Ornaments come from completing the quests on the maps that have a specific Ornament assigned to it.
The others, like the "T O R N" ornaments, they come from minigames. Completely random.

Not completely random. They are specific. The Cat ornament, comes from Santa Claws (the mini game), the Rope ornament, Hangman, Wreath, from Christmas Wreath, Present ornament, present picker, etc. (the others are snowball, gingerbread man, Word (Noel), Typing, and Garland - you can see where they come from :-)
Some (handgun, SMG, grenade, shotgun, rifle, dagger, axe, chainsaw, crowbar, taser, sword, shrooms, cannabis, ninja star, brick, T, O, R, N) come from Santa or chests.
There are 12 globes, those you just complete the quests to find on the 12 globe maps.
The above ornaments and globes affect drop (spawn) rate. Completing a mini game doesn't guarantee you'll get the ornament, it is luck in that regards, but that is where they are found. Same with the chest/Santa ones. It's just luck.
There are also 5 ornaments you buy, for a speed boost, in the ornament shop. Snowshoes, Skis, Sleigh, Snowboard, and Snowmobile. Those cost $30, 85, 120, 270, and 495, in Christmas Bucks.
