online activity turns out very important or the most important part of the game, a bit of stats as well, but that goes parallel, once you are active -your stats will grow as well, though devs could make a change in the game, for every minute of activity in the game -you get +1 energy stored as a weekly reward from Donator House as it gives to the game your time as a donation to promote their activity of servers. If you spend 3 hours a week you get 180 energy, and let it be a cap of 250E to prevent cheating. Then every player should have his activity score calculated from his/her age, though you can see it in statistics. It would be nice if game itself rewarded us for spending our time here.???

The game already rewards the players a lot by simply being online a lot, albeit not like that. By implementing this suggestion, active players are given even more of an advantage to the casual players who just log in, train and do crimes, log out. It is already proven that activity wins over stats as seen in Ranked Warring, where factions with weaker players who play a lot win against factions with stronger players who logs in like a casual. This suggestion will just make it so that no-lifers who spend 24/7 online have an even bigger advantage over the casuals.
TORN is supposed to be accommodating to every form of activity. In the travel agency, you have many different countries, some have long flight times for those who have a life, and some have short flight times for those who's always on. This suggestion simply ruins the game for the casuals, which is why this deserves an R-.

Ok, I understand it, but what if there is a cap of time rewarding players who are online not only to train stats and do crimes but much much more time spent and activities done? Every game rewards with achievements reached if a lot of time spent, that is for active gamers living in the game, but many casuals stay as casuals because trainings done, crimes done, and nothing else then is rewarding …?
This was just the base of my suggestion-question, if a reward for extra time spent in torn would make casual players spend longer time here, top factions already recruited all top active players, and we, smaller factions and younger age also want activity, so this came to my mind, not sure if it’s good enough for this game.
The game does reward you for being active. Take a look at the growth rate of a player that dedicates hours a day vs a casual player that pops in for 20 minutes a couple of times a day. I definitely don't think increasing the energy cap is a good idea. We already have a way of increasing it, and it's pretty well balanced as it stands.
Also, when you're making a suggestion, probably wise to not make everything a question. Makes you sound like you don't actually know what you're saying/wanting.

I am not playing this game logging in couple of times, I am here like 20 times a day, EVERY DAY, though three days were off after realised how unbalanced is this game against new guys coming in, 14 days of protected growth is a joke, meanness against new guys here trying to build their character vs +10 years old characters, there is no honest competition, and I know why old age guys will downgrade my suggestion as they enjoy this situation and after trying to build up and compete many people just leave this game realising where all this maths leading to., making my suggestion as a question I tried to be polite, not pushy, leave your analysis to yourself.
You are 900 days old in this game vs my 300, and your game time is just 60 days vs my 40, so how casual are you then here in torn and how little you know what you are saying if you cannot compare our efforts and dedication to progressing. The last barrier was done by adding booster cool-down to FHCs, so that to keep a carrot even less achievable for newer guys starting the game, I have spent billions buying all that trying to progress and it’s now understandable-I just been wasting my real life time running in a wheel, and there is a little to no-hope anything will be changed in torn.
My guy, this is the suggestions forums, this is literally the place to analyse and critique people's suggestions. That's literally like putting up a piece of art in an art gallery and being mad that there are people that don't like it.
I literally never mentioned how often you log in (nor your in game time vs mine), so that's kind of a moot point. But also, just logging in isn't accomplishing anything. You can log in a hundred times a day, that doesn't mean you've done anything or that you deserve anything more than anyone else. You actually have to do things to get things. The game isn't going to reward you just for existing. Nor is damn near any game. You get out what you put in. Put in a lot of effort, get out better achievements and rewards.
Which brings me to another point, strictly speaking, in game time does not equal effort put forth. You can literally just have Torn open and click on a new page every minute or two and the game counts it as activity. You can have 300 days of activity and literally accomplish nothing. And since we're making things personal, let's talk about a few things, shall we? With 2/3 of my activity, you have about 1/7th my networth, 1/3rd my attacks, I'd be willing to bet you have significantly less CE, Battle stats, and work stats than me, and actual knowledge of the game (as is evident by *generally gestures to everything*).
Ultimately though, I'll give you the same conclusion I've given a lot of people here. This isn't something that's going to change, or at least not anytime soon and not nearly this drastically. If you don't like how Torn operates, you are more than welcome to play something else. Don't demand change, get upset when people critique your demands, or get defensive and take things personally when people say no. I was more than happy to just let this suggestion die as a generally not very good idea, but you had to go and make it personal. If you want to take things personally in this game, you're going to be in for a rude awakening. I'll just leave this thread here, enjoy screaming into the void and getting mad when it doesn't want to listen to you anymore.

1) you first went to criticising me, not my suggestion, assuming I am casual log in person and not understanding what I am saying, though I spent more time and efforts that you in average. This is why I replied only to you, the first guy was not interesting snob chatting on forum from double account, I did say nothing to him, you went personal, but I won’t repeat this mistake.
2) billions of networth is good for nothing, I am investing 50-60£ monthly buying DPs exchanging for FHCs, e-cans, etc etc
3) I am fighting only in wars and chains, even stopped doing Duke’s missions as there are little to no good rewards, all the rest goes only for trainings as I am to deal with ten times older guys, if they were close to my age- my life would be very relaxed on torn as you could count on fingers how many my age guys could do any harm to me :)
4) my suggestion was expressed in a form that allows to modify it, with approach to find out what could make “casuals” more determined, not to get my personal benefits but to change the attitude of “burned out” people playing the game as a habit, so that they spend a bit more time in the game, not just log in twice a day.to use nerves and energy regenerated. That the time itself spent here is rewarding, that flights abroad are good for nothing, only rehab and merits are useful, everything else can be purchased here, so I don’t fly anywhere, later I will do that 50 flights occasionally.

No
Torn is supposed to take years of dedication and hard work, which is why the HoF is filled with players who are 5000 days old. You're not supposed to take on or deal with people way older than you, which is why the days counter is right below the level counter, for you to know who is similar to your age and who to deal with.
The CDs are supposed to be there to slow down your growth, so you don't get to the top of HoF in a week just because you had a credit card. If a player just bought DPs to get FHCs and alcohol to get to the top of HoF, what else is there for him to do? He's the no.1 player, there's no win condition, and there's no story to follow other than what Duke gets up to in the missions. He can decimate everyone in a war, but that's no fun because the other faction can't fight back, leading their faction to easily become HoF with no other goal than to just take over as much territory their upgrades allow them to. There is nothing else to do once you've done everything, and just quit within a month of playing.

Alright, let me get started with saying that yeah, this is not a good suggestion, at least in my opinion... and a lot of others too I believe :P
Looking at the comments above, Elizabeth doesn't at all call you out for your activity, her first comment goes as follows:
Let me highlight one of the sentences:
This breaks your point of "you went first to criticizing me..." is now invalid, as you took shots and called out Elizabeth's playtime, even though the callout was not used in the first place:
Third point is kind of similar?
Fourth point: Of course your suggestion is made to be modified, that's what suggestions is made for. This forum is made specifically for people who have ideas of things to implement, and in turn players of the community will provide feedback, negative or positive.
Overall I just don't agree with the suggestion as a whole, I feel like it's too strong in many aspects, even with the cap you mentioned. I feel like a player who wants to invest into the game, invest all that time on here, has to play through the grind as well. Torn is a long term game, and I feel like doing this breaks the point of waiting around for energy, and as stated above already, there's plenty of rewards for being active in the first place anyways
Thanks for reading, have a good one :)

Take a look at the growth rate of a player that dedicates hours a day vs a casual player that pops in for 20 minutes a couple of times a day. This is a simple analogy, just an example of us to visualize a random player who may dedicate hours a day, vs another random player who could pop in for not that long amount of time. There's no call out like "Hey, you're a casual player" or anything, it's just giving an example of people, and their potential play styles.

this would unbalance the game as a whole. this is a long term game.
also stop attacking someone for giving constructive critisism. it makes you seem whiney.

I don’t attack anyone, even if everyone agreed it wouldn’t make any changes as our suggestions are taken by devs only if they match their vision about the game. Sooo, the case is shut, let all that casuals stay as casuals, everyone is happy about peoples’ activities in the game. We’re all dependant on that E and N, and what then could keep us longer here if all regenerations used, booster cool-down limited, nothing to do here next 5 hours.
