Not sure you know what's going on tbh. Most factions have multiple owners. Same with many companies

This is pretty common amongst factions. And it’s really shitty to scam and refuse to repay friends.

Percentages were how kuch of the faction they owned. But basically when it came to voting each vote was equal. Unless im missing something from the very first screenshot!

I think the votes might have been according to the percentages which is why OP or whoever it was offered to sell their share to the leader in order for him to "own majority stake."

If I understand this correctly -

People invested a certain % of their own money to keep the faction alive .... with an agreement that their exact % of investment will be paid out to them when the faction gets sold.

Something happened to cause a rift in the faction, and some players left to go elsewhere.

Faction was sold 4 days ago for a good chunk of money, and to this day none of the investors are paid out.

The person with the proceeds from the sale is "investigating" how much to give out to who, and claims that he has a verbal agreement on a set price with select people and will pay them only what was agreed, and not their % investment.

So he agreed on a set price, didn't pay them. Sold the faction for a lot more than he bought it for, and is stalling paying the investors back, whether paying the agreed on price or their invested amount. Sounds like a scam to me!
