I'm not even sure if this is possible but can we get the number of requests per user on the wiki before being rate limited increased for wiki editors? (by even 2 to 3x, exclusively for wiki editors if possible.)
I find myself getting locked out a ton through purely human initiated requests whenever there is a small change that needs to be made on multiple pages.
I believe it was the internal one. It happened last night as I was doing a small update on about 50 pages (to be fair, the first time it's happened since the update kicked in).
It says something like "An unusual amount of requests towards TORN has been detected from your IP. Please check any scripts you or others on your IP are using."
Was rate limited again today (it still could be a bit higher limit IMO) while mass creating patch histories. Anyway, the exact verbiage:
"You are being rate limited.We have detected an unusually high number of requests directed towards TORN originating from your IP address. Please check any software or scripts you (or others on your IP address) are using."
I'm getting rate limited at a rate where I'm able to get in maybe one edit before being locked out for an hour. My ability to contribute is crippled at the moment.
