previous post on trump lol
graved as per my request :)
After 4 years of trump being bashed how could he even have a chance of running or winning I wouldn't bother
f**k trump, and if you're still following him after all the shit...well...

So this is what being gaslighted looks like.
I'd say Trump will likely be remembered as a middle of the road president. He did well with the economy, and had some decent highlights, but he won't be remembered as one of the greatest. Far from it.
I won't say you're in a cult like ol Ding dong up there. Seeing how anyone could make that argument against him just as easily lolol But Trump was competent enough not to get us all killed.
100 years from now, assuming American history progresses with a right and left struggle (it won't), Trump will be known as a polarizing figure who was President during a tumultuous time in America. He had some wins. I feel like OP missed the biggest one; no new wars.
But for me personally, I don't think he accomplished anything deserving of immortal reverence.
Sorry for the blackpill, but if you understand that there's a swamp in DC, my advice is to understand that nobody in current politics is coming to save you.
Considering Biden mostly won from people voting against Trump, feel like running Trump again would give them what they want. Also Trump lost to Biden despite how terrible he is, better to try something else. Also that he flipped from saying he loves Wikileaks in the campaign to throwing Assange under the bus while President makes it unlikely many who previously voted for him will again.
Although taking quote from Tropic Thunder, should never go full retard as Democrats have on Covid. Don’t see much chance of them winning if up against a candidate consistently on the right side of the issue. Biden’s popularity is historically low, only way GOP could mess up bad is picking an establishment candidate or trying to repeat a matchup they lost. Think Rand Paul has managed to stand out in pursuing the facts around Faucis lies. As long as Republicans pick him or more libertarian leaning candidate; giving people choice to vote liberty or tyranny; most are fed up with this constant tyranny & China being the new model our gov seeks to imitate.
That’s a really low bar dude. He’s divided your country more than any other president, and he does it intentionally.
People blame the media and establishment or whatever, but no one is putting words in Trumps mouth, he says all he says willingly.
you have it backwards...media has been dividing quite extensively these past few years, and not just in the US.
And you can't read or is there a president Media that I don't know about? I am comparing Trump to other presidents
As far as losing some of his base, is the fact that he ignored the J6 prisoners until very recently. Regardless of how anybody feels about the "insurrection", they were there for Trump and he left them out to dry. Now recently he address possible pardons IF he wins in 2024? Shameful.
In a previous interview he claimed that Israel used to have absolute power over Congress and rightfully so. Supporting Israel as an ally is one thing, that statement is ridiculous.
Also the elephant in the room for a lot of people is struggling with the logic of "The Democrats cheated and stole the election! You need to get out and vote!"
I can read easily with great comprehension.
You are blaming a president for divisiveness when he was merely responding to the "deplorables" and other commentary.
Compare to George Bush & Obama wasn’t bad. One created the conditions the conditions for ISIS to form by abusing the Muslims & throwing area into Chaos; as the other armed them & mostly god in way of Syria & Russia fighting them, prioritizing using them to destabilize a Russian ally & neighbor instead.
Thomas Jefferson seemed more consistently pro-liberty in his views. JFK got killed standing up to the conspirators & gave people a warning they can choose to head; rather than let them push him around like Trump did. Think that counts for something. During my lifetime every President has been terrible, so compare to them maybe.
I don’t even remember Obama’s justification for throwing Libya into chaos without even congressional approval for war; but that was another country thrown in chaos between the 2 of them for ISIS to base themselves. (Was ironic he got a Nobel peace prize, but only created more war during his presidency.)

Something something Hillary Clinton's "We came, we saw, he died"

Do feel like there is no way Democrats can really expect to win when Biden has just been a failure & mostly got elected by convincing people to vote against Trump; as well as promises he was never to keep. Like cancelling student debt; so even people who voted for him see none of their reasons for doing so occurring.
Probably why he’s so focused on wanting to remove filibuster, so can change elections rules so they don’t need people to vote for them to win. Hopefully we don’t get Hillary after, lol.
This thread is some serious bootlicking.
One hundred years from now, he will be remembered as the first and only US President who was convicted of a felony after his term and who would have served time in federal prison, had President Biden not pardoned him after the sentencing.
It looks like CLRF couldn't stay away from P&L once Trump's name was mentioned in a thread. The retirement's over, folks.
