Public schools are run by government & kids are forced to go to school, I do support banning government from forcing authoritarian measures on citizens.

People choosing to wear masks is one thing, but forced mask mandates are another. Forcing kids to wear masks all days causes all kinds of health problems unrelated to Covid, make it harder to breathe, harder to communicate, people with hearing impairments who normally read lips can’t even understand people with masks, etc.

Left is making it to easy for Desantis when issues they focus on are more reason not to want them in power. They focus on mask mandates, vaccine mandates, wanting it easier to cheat in elections, etc; rather than focusing on a single pro-liberty issue. It’s like them saying what they want are free political ads for Desantis. (Left just opening their mouth on complaints on Desantis makes it seem to risky to split the pro-Liberty vote by trying to have a libertarian candidate win even; since risk of them gaining power without actually winning would be to high.)

Kids are not forced. You have choices. If you think public school is an authoritarian measure, then you're a bigger idiot than initially thought. Democrats in Florida have been complaining ever since he opened schools he's not forcing them to wear masks, that's what they're upset about in Florida with Desantis. Also seen a candidate wanting to be the democrat candidate for Governor in only speech I saw them make complaining that he was letting unvaccinated get unemployment; while not wanting unvaccinated even allowed to work. Every talking point I see them make complaining about him are about authoritarian stuff on forcing masks or vaccines. They aren't forced to wear masks in schools because he banned them from forcing kids to and democrats have complained about that ever since.

Also they make a big fuss over him requiring some kind of ID for mail in voting, rather than people needing a much more expensive ID for medical marijuana. If they want to complain about something being discriminatory towards low income people, they should complain about that; not needing a regular ID or social security number to vote. The issues they pick to make a fuss over about what he does is nonsensical and counter productive towards their cause.

Basically impression I get from them when they talk is they want to my life and life of others as unlivable as possible; while also rig the vote so they'll never lose again if they win. lol

You pointed to the comic as an example of how the Democrats are the more authoritarian party. The left side of the comic is about the left wanting kids to wear masks. The right side is about a Tennessee school district banning Maus, an award winning biographical graphic novel about the Holocaust, because one panel has visible mouse-boobies and another says damn.

To me, the fact that this comic is your example of Democrat authoritarianism suggests one of three things:

1) you think that banning Maus is not authoritarian, or less authoritarian than requiring masks

2) you didn't look at the whole comic

3) the right side of the comic could have shown absolutely anything at all and you would still have considered the mask side more authoritarian

I'm just trying to figure out which it is.
