I don't expect Valentine's to surpass Halloweens peak attack amounts (over comparable times) personally, but what we might see is larger initial burst of attacks. Keen to see how it goes though! Halloween 21 had more attacks than Valentine's 21, …
Drink love juice and 5E per attack.
Edit;- Sorry all, mobile typing, it is 15E per attack.

*15e per attack.
Never seen this before?
If no, here's what's going on on Valentine's:

Love juice (iirc) is around $17m, and, "[r]educes attack & revive energy cost by 10. Increases Speed by 50% and Dexterity by 25%." and can only be used on Valentine's.
EDIT: oops two replies late :P

5 would be awesome :D
Used to be less though, right? But the server couldn't handle it or something?

Yes, it used to cost 10E (reduction of 15E).
Revives being lowered was also a recent addition, with it previously only being applied to attacking.

Yep. Hopefully it will get reverted to 5e at some point, was some of the most chaotic fun I've had.
With a quickly growing playerbase and Halloween ('21) surpassing 1mil attacks in under an hour, without any attack energy cost reductions, this Valentine's, I predict, will have at least 1.5mil attacks in the first hour. Probably much more. There might even be some downtime. Imo, increasing it would be really awesome lol but it might cause severe downtime and might end up not worth it
5e cost per attack? Oh boi. That's nuts. 25k chains no challenge anymore if that will be the case.
The challenge was finding targets.

Halloween 21 had more attacks than Valentine's 21, servers for Halloween did better and we have made further improvements since.
We do hope there will be no major issues, but it's always difficult to know for sure until the moment - these events are great at identifying bottlenecks in the system that we can quickly work to resolve.

It will be super lag. Especially during the first few hours of valentines day.
Get yo own mug targets. The ones from lists will be hosped the whole time lol
Nope. No lag.
We may have some funny movements with long periods of thought, but that is just the Valentine's Day Walking Meditation feature, it's not lag.
You will only experience this undocumented enhancement for the first 6-12 hours of the Valentine's Day event.

Edit: no this is not a real feature. It's likely we will have some lag, but probably not that bad.
