Back in my day we had no drugs and you could go to fed for saying any little bullshit thing on the forums. Oh and you could get free points for visiting sketchy voting sites that often gave you viruses. - AJ- [2173898]

Used to be able to own, train and fight dogs you kept as pets. That was pretty 'whacky'.

a long time ago the gym buttons used to be red...
Long long time ago, big guys (players with huge stats) were able to ONE-SHOT everybody they fight. So everyone just focuses on getting their Str and Speed up.

Not an old player, but mug chaining seems pretty nice

You can still see remnants of the old crazy damage numbers when you look at any old players total damage graph.. it's even more startling on players like old giants like BB..

AND you used to be able to buy yasukini sword with 10 merits also. EDIT: This was around 2005-2006
PLUS, warbase had a maximum of 500 members. in the old faction warring system, remembering that attacks used to cost 50 ENERGY! hard to believe that now.

Before my time there was a mission system where it cost a bit to sign up and upon completion you got a dual melee.
the weapon you received was dependent on you highest stat at the time.

I remember this and vicodin would reduce the E cost of an attack to 25
