No limit.

First we wanted to do it like that to put a limit on it. But it would complicate everything and it would result in strong teams being placed in a weaker league and winning everything in the weaker league.

But I feel it would be better if it's done like the football/soccer leagues where we have multiple divisions...

So, you earn points and at the end of every season, 2-4 teams get promoted AND demoted based on the way they perform..

As for the new comers, we can be fixed randomly, it's just for us to climb up, remain in that division or fall down...

What you descrube is what we do with the wildcard exeption. We made the wildcard system to try and enhance everyones experience. If you are in the bottom league and have a season 3 too strong teams are in it you wont In anything it would be just another season to race where you cant promote nor have a decent chance to win something.

Sort of dont like the wild card system. All previous racer earned their spot racing the whole of season 1,
The new guys just get slotted in, not fair, make them race a whole season to earn their spot like the rest of us did.

Sorry for being difficult.

it is made so that new teams who consist out of big rs racers, or people who joined a different faction get the small odd of not having to restart all over and go through all leagues. It also is no fun if in the lowest league next year will get people with 50rs +. They will completly dominate the league, take all the prizemoney and promote.
So everyone who encounters them will get a season where they don't have a chance themselves.

If your friend and you are 10-15 rs and made league 6 (bottom league as example). Next year take a team with 50rs and 35rs, another with 60rs and 30rs and the last one that got promoted to your league from the new groups is 45 and 29rs.

Suddenly league 6 sees people that have high rs, all those 6 racers will most likely continously dominate in the group (they will take spots 1-3 again), leaving nothing for the other 17 teams in league 6 in the example.

With the wildcard system these teams will end up in a higher league based on their results in season 2, with a limited amount of wildcards per league.

Edit:
We won't redo the entire leagues again, top 3 per league season 2 will still promote, bottom 3 will still relegate this season.

you misunderstand something.

Let's say we have 6 leagues that are from season 1

This means we will have this season

League 1
League 2
League 3
League 4
League 5
League 6

New teams will become (as an example with 101 teams)
League x1
League x2
League x3
League x4
League x5
League x6

At the end of the season we will:

League 1: Relegate bottom 3
League 2: Promote top 3, relegate bottom 3
League 3: Promote top 3, relegate bottom 3
League 4: Promote top 3, relegate bottom 3
League 5: Promote top 3, relegate bottom 3
League 6: Promote top 3, relegate bottom 3

Overall ranking will be made for everyone, if an x-league team gets overall a 35 th place they get a wildcard

Season 3 will start with (if all these teams sign up again)
League 1: 20 teams + possible 2 wildcards (none if no one ends up in the top 20 from the new teams)
League 2: 20 teams + possible 2 wildcards (none if no one ends up in the top 40 from the new teams)
League 3: 20 teams + possible 2 wildcards (none if no one ends up in the top 60 from the new teams)
League 4: 20 teams + possible 2 wildcards (none if no one ends up in the top 80 from the new teams)
League 5: 20 teams + possible 2 wildcards (none if no one ends up in the top 100 from the new teams)
League 6: 20 teams + possible 2 wildcards (none if no one ends up in the top 120 from the new teams)
League 7: 20 teams all from league x in season 2
League 8: 20 teams all from league x in season 2
League 9: 20 teams all from league x in season 2
League 10: 20 teams all from league x in season 2
League 11: 20 teams all from league x in season 2
League 12: 20 teams all from league x in season 2

So there are only 2 teams from the league x leagues that can jump to any league 1, so all these league x teams compete against eachother for a wildcard spot, if all wildcard places are gone (not all will be filled either due to overall ranking). The 3 teams that didn't make it will promote to league 6.
