Same here. We just failed a chain because all of us in the faction that were online were getting error 550.

Press and hold the name in chats or advanced search will bring up the small profile as a workaround can attack from here whilst it's fixed

Found two ways to attack, browser history and long pressing the profile name. Thankfully it has already been fixed.
Lost a chain at 98 hits in ranked war :(
FWIW - not completely fixed, still occurs on some profile pages. For example, this page led to it directly:

The 'onlinestatus.php?idle' seems to *always* return a 550 response that sometimes causes the whole page to display that (the error message), and sometimes not.

You supposedly can still interact with targets via the mini profile. A window that pops up if you hold your mouse over somebody's name. In chat, in forum, on friends/enemy list, abroad on the people's list.

Yes that is what I saw, the links I posted were the actual calls from going directly to a profile page that actually returned the error. In other words, links in the page, fetches generated by the page, etc. The original link in the address bar would be the profile page for a user.
We should receive compensation for this issue. Not due to dropping a chain, but for having to read about "best friend pp tattoos"
