Hi everyone,

This message has recently appeared under my inventory:

"You have 25,123 items in your inventory. We recommend you reduce the number of items in your inventory by selling them or moving them into a Bazaar or Display Case. If your inventory continues to expand your transactions may be restricted."

I couldn't find any information about it nor in the help section, neither in the forum. Can someone give me a little more insight, what's the limit and what kind of "restrictions" I am to expect?

Thank you!

The items page is old, very, very old, and linked to just about every system in Torn (seriously, just imagine every area that ever interacts with an item, even potentially so).

Because of this it can cause a much slower experience for you in game, as it has to load your entire items page every time, with each item being an individual row in a database (we plan to resolve this in the future, but it's a huge task given how many pages tie into items...). So that includes from attacking, hospital and jail, crimes travel, racing, markets, faction, you name it....

Not only this is can also create a slower experience for others if truly excessive.

The warning comes in at 25k stating you could experience these problems, at 100k you lose the ability to acquire any new items or even trade unless you actively remove things from your inventory (e.g. selling to shops or, preferably, putting them in your display/bazaar - since these use updated systems and don't list items as individual lines).
