Hi, I've recently bought Mod:
Small Light Bonus: -3.00 Opp Acc -2 Opp stealth
Do I need to use gun to get these bonuses work ? For example in a defense, I equip that gun with mod but I only use melee?

You need to hit your opponent with the weapon for the light effects to occur. A miss will not do it.
Even if you do zero damage it will occur, but you must land a hit.

Thus, if you don't use the weapon, there will be no effect.
