Remember when people used to submit Torn-themed Desktop backgrounds to the Freebies section of the newspaper? No, us neither, so let’s revive that section of the paper with a bunch of new backgrounds, shall we?

We’d like you to create a desktop background that players can download and use on their laptops, personal computers, or digital pregnancy tests just computers. Your background should be themed around Torn, and you may also add in a secondary theme too, such as Easter, Dog Tags, or the forthcoming 4-20 day. Your desktop background should be created with a resolution of 1920x1080, using other resolutions won't disqualify you, but we would recommend this or higher.


THE RULES

[background color=var(--bbc-body-bg-color)]You may include free-use stock images and photographs in your background, but the overall design must mostly be your own work.[/background]


[background color=var(--bbc-body-bg-color)]Please link us to two versions of your background in your post. Only one of these should include your name, ID, and 2022 somewhere in the image.[/background]


[background color=var(--bbc-body-bg-color)]You may not use any backgrounds previously submitted to Torn.[/background]


[background color=var(--bbc-body-bg-color)]You may submit up to three entries in one post.[/background]

[background color=var(--bbc-body-bg-color)]By submitting an entry to this competition you are permitting us to post it as a downloadable item in the Freebies section. Of course, you will retain ownership of your artwork because it is essentially worthless.[/background]
