Items don't just disappear. The most likely scenarios are you either: overlooked it in your items, sold it, or enlisted it for racing (cars don't show up in your inventory once enlisted).
You can check for yourself what happened to your car: click the clipboard icon at the top of the screen, and choose "View All" at the bottom. Then you can filter by either Items Outgoing in the first category, or Racing Enlist Car in the second category, and look through the list to find what you did with it.

One time I went playing RR and 10b disappeared somehow from my account. Havent found them to this day sadly so just get used to that fact you lost it xD
