There is less interest in Elimination and other events each year as more and more people get the merits associated with the event.
Tokens are such a rubbish reward these days. Everyone pretty much has all the honors u can get but who needs 10 hairstyles.

Setup the token shop to be similar to mission rewards shop where you have the option to use tokens to buy items like FHCs or SEs. That would give people incentive every year.

Imagine if you could buy an SE for like 20 tokens. Suddenly there would be a real incentive to take part.

To keep from flooding the market with SE, maybe they should be instant-use SE instead. Players who have that many tokens are likely approaching SE levels of stats, even if they aren't at optimal levels yet. It would allow them to either start using a little early or stack tokens until they're ready, but the tokens would still be extremely valuable.
