You're giving Chedburn too much credit here. He clearly had no idea what was going on in his own game, and the admins didn't tell him because they and their friends benefited from the issues.
Just off the top of my mind, these things would have been dealt with much earlier if Chedburn paid any attention:
*The stock marked situation at the time tea was fedded that was gave consistent daily gains of more than 1% per day, something pretty much everyone knew about for close to a year before it was changed. Even with tea's fedding, I'm sure the total money supply in the game quadrupled in that time.
*Self-busting for dex was going on openly for 2 years or so before anything was done about it.
*Boosters had no cooldown for a very long time, making it possible to effectively buy stats, not only through FHCs but also from nerve items and self-busting.
*Chedburn himself said he was disappointed about someone hitting lvl 100 since he had planned something for the last part, even though pretty much all the active players were following the race between BB and the guy who came second, for months.
To be fair to bogie, and probably Chedburn, the game seems to be more under control now, as far as I know there are no current huge flaws that are being taken advantage of in the game.

That is true, game is more stable and more balanced now. But still, loads of stuff needs to be tweaked just look at the 3 last huge changes to the meta gameplay -> Territories -> Rackets -> Ranked Warring. All these 3 updates needs tweaking, specially the Rackets and Ranked Warring. Territory warring has been dead for more then a year if not years. You only see big pushes if its top hof factions going somewhere or big alliances steam rolling 1 faction.
But yes, its not as bad now as it used to be.

Only a small fraction of that money belonged to HT. It was mostly other people's money that we were all investing... I had 40-50B, I believe Dime had over 100B, Tea had to have had close to what I had, plus there was Sindree, Jallabrev, and a few others that had several billion of other people's money...
How did HT go from HT to HT-?
Asking the real questions here... xD
Pretty sure it's something to show the earth is flat. Just like the dash!
There wasn't always a three character minimum
Rise of HT = Supermikk, Jallabrev, DirtyDog. etc pwning nub factions and white screening them when meds were harder to afford until they pay XXX mil in extortion fees.
Fall of HT = Some nub D3vl somehow got control of "HT" ran it into the ground, and is now trying to sell it for pennies on the dollar. Tarnishing the once respectable name (a decade ago).

If you calling what Ive done running it into the ground you obviously need a reality check.
TBH it’s disgraceful you would even post it for sale. After all the other Norwegians from days of old had built it to be a feared faction. HT being mid grade now been running joke for a decade. Used to be so strong, but now it hasn’t had anything to show for it. You’ve taken it from a top 10 legendary faction to a retirement home with rank #44 in respect. Bunch of mid grades work way harder, have more activity, coordination, etc. You running on fame for a name you didn’t even build. Should leave it to other Norwegians and see if they can’t turn it into something great again instead of trying to build yourself off others backs. Lmfao
D3vl is an easy target to make fun of but tbh HT wouldnt exist at all without him. Got to give credit where credit is due. At least he didnt try to sell the faction
Exacltly not like he used faction money to bump his stats or networth up
To be fair, the real threat wasn't being stuck in hospital but getting their faction destroyed. At the time we zeroed hundreds of factions and systematically went through spreadsheets of NAPs to extort again the minute the existing one expired.
It's a real shame if the faction gets sold to someone with no prior attachment to it, but I'm sure all previous members will get a fair piece of the selling price when that happens.
