I think it might be a fun addition if cross faction or war chat like "global chat" was a thing. It would be ever changing if it was war, just so you could talk crap to the other team while fighting, or have allies where you could choose to add each other to the chat. To be able to coordinate things with each other. Not sure how it would work, but I think it would be pretty fun.

Hopefully you are right. If chat 2.0 allows racing chat and group chats this should be easy to do. Maybe an on/off switch that both factions need to have on.

R+, but don't expect this to be implemented. Chat has been in a state of being rebuilt to address a myriad of problems for years. Maybe this suggestion will be easier to implement once the "new" chat system is finally finished.

I think both of those are things that should be as easy as flipping a switch with a decent chat system.
