a lot to be considered here. so far, we've been stubborn/"traditional" and the lone expense we've really bothered with in ranked wars has been reviver contracts which are of... negligible value if not ordered with significant over-investment

we'll have to acknowledge and account for the reality that we are a great underdog bonus target for the reason that we are in-so-far unwilling pay into this to the same degree as our opponents (not just vv)

meanwhile our opponents in these various wars have paid for exclusive revives, seds, flight delays, gaks, red weapons, bounties, and scripters, to incredibly detrimental effect. the value of financial investment is profound and obvious

the issue is of course, who's pocket? much to think about

edit: i believe, moving forward, we should expect all our opponents to put in this much investment to defeat us, and consider our options... if any

Meh it's only money, if we win this war at a financial expense so be it, its f**king funny reading the first few pages (3 - 6).

Win or lose Vulpes have once again shown class, heart and determination. That will be remembered far more then petty revive and merc bills

all is fair in love and war; the only class i expect is in the forums and indeed, that too should be something we improve.

I think beyond that you may need to change your attitude towards the wars themselves, if this thread is anything to go by.


I get the urge to fight “honourably”, however in real war you don’t stand across each other in a big line and shoot. Tactics will always be a bigger factor than brute strength.


Beyond that instead of railing against the system try to think around the tactics your enemy are employing.

We cant blame Vulpes. Its the game which allows these kind of tactics.

Most fun would be if you cant attack anyone who is in an active RW with another faction. So it would be a real 1 v 1 match.

I thought this was already an unwritten rule but apparently I was way to naive lol.
