Is there a way to see what items are in the dump?
Any thoughts on what the most valuable item in there is

There are no shortcuts hardwork . As for most valuable there must be many 1m worth items in there cause of merit. But good luck finding that. Finding a good item would be close to 1 in 6000

Not that I know of; however, you can get some pretty valuable items. No idea what the most valuable would be. I've had things like cars and plushies before. But I also don't search the dump a lot so perhaps others have found something better.

This isn't how the dump works. The probability of finding any given item in the dump is equal for however many different items there are. If the only things in the dump were 10,000 bricks and 1 donator pack, you'd have a 50/50 chance of getting the donator pack.

How 50 / 50 ? Shouldn't it be 1 / 10k?

Can ' API ' say when someone throws something in the dump?

In this scenario, there are two different items in the dump (bricks and donator packs), so you have a 50/50 chance of finding either. The quantity of each has no impact whatsoever.

There is no global information about the dump available via the API.

Dump has items that people dumped from their inventory. So, it depends on what you think of the society. Actually, pretty close to real life as say. Some rich guy said he once dumped a parachute. Don't know whether it was ever found. If it's not, I think that might be the most valuable item there.

The way to see is to spend 5e searching it. If you have automated categorizing systems even for dumps, they are not dumps anymore.

Where did you get this information wrong, as I don't feel it is correct.

I remember one year someone dumped thousands of one item in the dump and for days that is all people found. This doesn't really correlate with your theory.

It is correct, it was mentioned during the christmas dump giveaway where Duke drops expensive items.

It doesn't group items together but rather each item is a separate entity and it is a random pick from the array of items, in this case 10,001 items.

Your chance of getting a DP is one in 10k.

I dumped the following around Christmas time. Based on the messages and bounties I received, I only think about 500 SLCs have been pulled out.

Duke dumps a lot of good stuff at Christmas. Best I've ever seen anyone claim is boxing gloves. I always get junk.

I have come across leaked information and am paying it forward, as someone did to me in the past.

There is a plan to bring the Seat Leon Cupra (the darling of Torn City Racing) to it's real intrinsic value. This sleepy car is fluctuating around 10k at the moment (a GREAT entry price) and is available at the docks periodically for a screaming deal as well (if you can find it there) of 17.5k.

A massive price increase is coming in just a few weeks (01/09/22) and SLCs (Seat Leon Cupras) will be bought at any value! So hoard them now while you still can. Buy anything marked below 100k if you can and hold for the 1 million dollar price breakpoint! Then we celebrate!

Please only disclose this to your closest friends, as if too many people start buying early we will not get as many profits in the end.

- The dump searching system has been greatly simplified also, and no longer uses awareness. The old system that utilised awareness actually created a blind spot which meant the same items would appear frequently (especially for those with high awareness). With this system removed, an item will instead be chosen based on how many different item types are currently in the dump. So currently there are 333 different types of items sitting in the dump, if someone was to drop say... A donator pack, or some other high value item in there, you would have a 1 in 334 chance of finding it.

Make sure to spend all of your energy searching the dump. Parachutes and skateboards are out there...
