FBI could be said to be the anti-KKK police if you go back to their origins.

Nowadays as a federal agency its operations get regarded as political even though the vast majority of its actions are merely federal law enforcement, ie. Major crimes.

The Republicans utilize the FBI in a far more overt political fashion then the other side of the aisle, many of these actions have laid the basis for the whole Deep State, Barr for example, a Republican basically authorised warrantless surveillance of the American population en mass, yet he's mostly regarded as not a RINO.....which is when a Republican-affiliated FBI official acts to forward law enforcement over their own personal party affiliation, see. Robert Mueller, etc.

Garland hasn't been wining and dining with Biden because he understands the necessary separation between his department and the WH. Barr auditioned for his second role at that job through an unsolicited letter writing campaign that undermined an entire counterintelligence investigation, then scuttled it when he was given the spot.

The DoJ released a statement saying they knew nothing of the raid. - that the FBI acted on their own.... lol.....when the shit hits the fan... throw somebody, ANYBODY under the bus.... lol

How many decades ago? Rich people tend to hang with rich people - doesn't mean they know what goes on behind closed doors.

So... if you know someone.... and later they turn out to be something else entirely than what you thought YOU'RE responsible for it?

You really are special.

A lot of people here have a bad case of the "there are no good and bad actions, only good and bad people"s, and this is an example of that. The problem isn't what the FBI is doing per se; it's that the FBI's current actions aren't helpful to Team Republican. The same people would be cheering if the same thing happened to a Clinton or Biden, and they're way too caught up in the perceived rivalry between those two parties to know or care that the FBI will happily come right out and be political police against an MLK or a Fred Hampton.

If they took boxes of files, that by law he had to give back when he lost the election, but didn't, then the orange prick broke the law...

Not just the law like a speeding ticket, but more the treason law...

String the f**k up...

Or that his work on the Epstein case was also intrinsically linked to Alex Acosta throwing non-prosecution agreements at Epstein and his associates.......and who appointed Acosta again? Right, it was the last guy.

So the Epstein angle falls apart again.

They are not Democrat police, this is the same FBI that dropped an investigation into Hilary Clinton right before the 2016 election then later cleared her of all wrongdoing.

The FBI is mostly bi-partisan, whoever told you they are enforcers for the Democratic party was lying and trying to distort your views.

The current FBI Director was appointed by King Trump, the previous one was a lifelong Republican, the one before that was a Republican appointed by Bush. As a matter of fact, there has never been an FBI director that was a registered Democratic Party member. If anything, that indicates that it leans more conservative, and if you look at the FBIs past actions, especially during the civil rights era, that becomes even clearer.

My personal opinion is that every contender to a high office of power should be under major scrutiny from every law enforcement agency qualified to investigate them
They are investigated, but because politics is involved and unscrupulous characters can easily distort public opinion, investigations have to treated delicately. Investigations also move very slowly, by the time enough evidence of a crime is gathered, the subject of the investigation may have already won their election, making it more complicated to enforce the law on a public official.
