If you get hosped in a crime like Kidnapping(undercover cop) do you lose CE? And do you lose any CE at all from getting hosped from any crimes?

Yes you lose CE from hosps from crimes, but for most crimes it's negligible (an arson hosp is ~0.2 AEQ loss).
Undercover cop is one of the more punishing hosps, there was some controversy a while back when people were using it as a "free" self hosp and ched nerfed it to give a more significant chunk of CE damage, still not as much as most jailings, but enough to deter the use as a n-based consistent self-hosp for peeps that care about maintaining CE
