I'm looking for a group for a EST USA server. Official servers prefered.[/background]




[background color=var(--bbc-body-bg-color)]I started playing this for almost a month now. I'm on my longest survival streak so far. Five days no deaths. That can end at any time though, considering all the dangers in the game. Today I just got attacked by four wolves. The environment kills me faster than PVP does lol. Anyway, Looking for a group to join. I know how to build almost everything in the game that's buildable. However, I am only limited to late nights EST and mostly all day on weekends.[/background]

I play on officials, but open to modded. They got rid of alot of the hackers abilities. There are still glitches from what I heard but hackers have not been a problem as of 2022 and late 2021. Not saying there aren't any. But that battleye system catches them pretty quickly.

PC, I don't mind private servers. Had some issues while playign Conan Exiles on some private servers. Rules were too strict, or vague. Got banned from a server for only pvping and not building a base on conan. That dislike for private servers carried over, but if I hear of a good private server I'll join it.

Never played conan mate, but the majority of PVPers and active players are on private for DayZ.
You can get some bullshit servers ofc, where rules are bollocks or admins just purely suck the dick of certain groups, but there are PLENTY of decent servers mate, 100% worth it.

However: if you like dayz for the "survival" side of it, then maybe stick to official. Private is more about PVP, raiding, base building etc, wiping every couple months. Some servers even have caves with locked rooms that you need to find keycards for that will host good loot, they'll be swarmed with bears and zombies and on some servers aliens etc. Helicopters etc all on private too
