So....what's happening with companies and the server issues? Forgive me if this is a stupid question....but will it go back to normal Sunday? Or what?

No, it was in the patch notes. Thats how things are done now.
Just kidding, yes, unless something goes wrong, it will go back to normal Sunday.

Good question. I haven’t really paid much attention to it either but, i have a couple questions if companies were actually impacted by the server issues.
I’m assuming it delayed companies from either gaining or losing stars?

Last week only took into account your top 6 Days of income. Popularity displayed will be incorrect until end of this week or the start of next.
I do not believe it delayed losing or gaining stars but it did provide a buffer for companies affected by the server issues.
Some companies daily process was ran, while others werent ran at all but had ad fees deducted.
When they re-rolled the company results for everyone it deducted another day of Ad-Fees from companies who had already paid (and some did not get any results); also if you did not manage to re-stock your company before they re-rolled the results you did not have any sales due to stock being out.
The solution was to only allow the top 6 days to affect companies for that week.
