You don’t have to be a leader to inspire others. In fact, given the state of last year’s Elimination commanders, it’s probably best if you’re not. Regardless of your status, we’d like you to write and record a rousing speech to inspire your team to victory in Elimination 2022. Rally those Rain Men. Stir up Satan’s Soldiers. And drive on those Dirty Cops!

Your speech should be 60 seconds or shorter, and it must be written and performed by you or another human. You may use music and video to amplify the effect of your speech if you wish, but please try to be original with your creations - if your piece is a lazy parody of a Churchill and it’s recorded by an artificial human voice, you’re not gonna place.

We want to hear your passion, your anger, and your hope in this speech. We want spine-tingling oratory the likes of which haven’t been heard in decades. A call to arms. A vocal act of resistance against overwhelming odds. We want a speech that will live long in the memories of those who fought for their lives in Elimination 2022.

Prizes to be awarded

2nd place: Silver ribbon + 500 points + special gift + Silver Mic

3rd place: Bronze ribbon + 250 points + special gift + Bronze Mic

Any posts here which do not contain entries will be deleted and proper action taken. Any posts which do not follow the rules will be disqualified.

Sleepyheads,

As we awaken from our sweet slumber and stand upon this great battlefield of Torn, we are reminded that Elimination is upon us.

And although we long for the warm comfort of our beds, we can’t lay back and watch our enemies steal our tickets while they catch us napping!

Nay, I say!

We must be the ones to be snatching the tickets from OUR foes; to be stuffing our mattresses full of our opponents’ ill-begotten tickets every 30 minutes!

Sleepyheads, I ask you…

Are we going to rest on our laurels as the Dirty Cops slash our sheets?

Are we going to catch a few winks as the Wolf Pack mangles our mattresses??

Are we going to take an afternoon siesta as the Laughing Stock pounds our pillows???

Then let’s get out there and eradicate our enemies’ stockpile of tickets!!!

I might not be on the team of the Ducks, but that doesn't mean that I still don't have the luck of a duck... Throw yourselves Infront of me for protection and we are sure to win at least 5th place. Duck speed and let's slay them like the locusts lay waste to crops!

SleepyHeads,

Cast the weariness away from your blood shot eyes and join me as mayhem is upon us.
Our dreams have been shattered and our sleep has been disturbed.

Dirty cops, laughing stocks, firestarters, wolfpacks, among others have caused ruckus interrupting our beautiful slumber.

They brought us back to this gritty reality. The very reality we rejected ages ago.

But now they shall feel our wrath.

Sleepyheads, put on your onesies and raise your pillows up in the air as we sing our foes a lullaby of lead and steel before we lay them down for their eternal sleep.

Join me, as we fight for our right to get back to our dreams.

My entry

Mighty howling ferocious wolves, pack arise and devour your enemies. Growling slavering jowls chomp down and break bone of evil. Victorious howls to the moon, blood glistening on fur. Excitement running through your veins.
No fear of battle in our hearts, we sharpen our fangs on rubber ducky skulls. No sleepyheads nodding off in our pack. Rawring thunder heard in the distance strikes zero fear in the brave hearts of the mighty Wolf Pack!

Thought I'd try my hand now that Firestarters have survived Jeans, Satants and Stocks, and are still above water despite the odds. My phone doesn't offer the best recording but that obviously just adds grit, like the message is going out on a loudspeaker over the trenches.

We started the fire, and the world began to burn

Since the beginning of Eliminations we have brought fiery ruin upon our enemies - even as upon all sides they have attempted to smother us out

But I tell you now, that when our light seems dim, when our foes think that we are but a smouldering ember - now is the hour when we shall bust forth again into an inferno the likes of which has never been seen

We will cook the ducks, crack the eggs and smoke out the wolves
The long arm of the law will be singed and recoil
No thunder cloud nor rain of man will extinguish our flame
The sleepy will find eternal rest in a boneyard of ash

None will be spared from the fires of perdition

For the fire has come, and it will leave nothing in its wake
