Laughing Stocks Tank - Team Clown Goes Down

Mad respect to everyone who toughed it out for the clowns over the past few days. We were under the gun with a relentless onslaught basically from the very beginning and held our ground the whole time. You guys make me proud to be a Laughing Stock. Thanks to your positivity and encouragement, some difficult times in this competition felt a lot smoother. From the beginning, you all provided the team with a very fun atmosphere with positive vibes, and it showed in how we fought as a group of Clown Spartans.

This wasn’t the position we hoped for, unfortunately. At the end of this competition, there’s only 1 out of 12 teams that isn’t going to be disappointed with their finish. I have to say this is one of the fiercest late finishing teams I’ve ever seen. They had to earn every single life they took from us. Nothing at all was given for free, the way the competition should be.

Apologies to my team that the flip didn’t really work out as we had hoped. We came with a massive coalition of teams, but can’t do much about cowardice and others deciding to settle for losing when they went back. I’m glad we stayed with our convictions. It made the competition more fun than being someone else’s bitch just to get a couple places higher. It definitely woke the team up and gave us a lot more energy.

Huge shout out to Laura first and foremost. Did I read the chat right that you were calling pushes for over 20 hours (correction: 30 hours) straight? God damn what an animal! No naps; no mercy! Dedication like that are exactly why us Laughing Stocks were no joke.

PlatinumDevil’s bot was absolute money too. That thing helped us get very organized very quickly with little hassle. And you were in chat regularly keeping things light.

The rest of the leadership team of ThtAstronautGuy, Kitten, and Tangwvlin were all extremely vital to our team. Each did great jobs giving feedback and adapting to the current situations. I cannot stress enough how much I enjoyed leading with all of you and would gladly do it again. You all did great at filling a lot of the [huge] gaps that I was leaving.

Also shout outs to other key contributors either with help calling pushes or supplies or general council help. In no particular order: Ohadik, RebelOnline, 811, PropHunt, DrChrono, tos, Herodotus, Lunette, Cinci, Jazeejas. Apologies if I missed anyone. It’s a bit late when I wrote this. Didn’t mean any disrespect to a fellow prankster gangster.

The clown car has finally crashed but we took it pretty bloody far despite the massive shoes.

It has been an honour and privilege - what a stellar team to have been a part of, fighting until the bitter end and refusing to just give in when the going got tough. Thank you for all your hard work and being part of a genuinely nice experience of teamwork. This has been a circus I've been proud to be a part of.

That ticket we took out with us is a badge of honour.

That battle was crazy. Popping down to the bottom of the board then back up. I don't know what's happening behind the scenes with leadership politics but you guys put up a great fight!
