    There's a merit for it. Doing it once or twice for like two weeks. Other than that it's basically useless Some people say it affects city finds, casino wins, whatever, but there's never been any solid evidence that that's true …

Er... What is the specific effect of praying in the church in this game?
I always thought that there was no effect of the actual game value, just for peace of the mind.Or just for the merits.
Until I found this.Rosary Beads' effect.
Effect: Boosts the effects of praying in the church by 10%.

Therefore, there must be a specific game effect impact here to boost 10%, right?

There's a merit for it. Doing it once or twice for like two weeks.

Other than that it's basically useless

It increases your torn luck bar. There's a thread about it in the forums somewhere. Too lazy to find it for you so you'll have to go looking for it yourself.

Can't believe someone reported this post..... (losers everywhere I swear)

For False0, just pray in the morning before go do your RL day job, then again when your shift ends, and repeat. In 7-14 days you'll get your merit. You don't need the beads to do it, and its 10% benefit is at most 1 day saved.

Be active, and do it twice a day, Just to be sure it doesn't reset because it was 24 hours and 5 seconds since your last go at it lol.

Well, I think basically praying in Torn is like praying in real life. You just gotta have faith that it will increase your luck in Torn Casino or whatever.

Yes, and just like in real life people pray because they believe it will have a positive effect on them. So I think the pray function in the church does exactly what its supposed to do

An often overlooked effect of the rosaries is that, for the purpose of specific merits, it is +1 to the tally of all the other bonuses you have. As such, long after doing your praying, those beads are worth holding on to.

I always use 5 e to pray before opening all my drug packs and always get profit. once, i forgot to pray and lost 30m. but its prolly only psychological effect tbh
