This is my very original basic gym training guide.

First off, you're gonna have to understand that gym training is only really important for people looking to climb to level 15 or people who are seeking to help their faction with ranked wars and chains. If you're only interested in climbing to level 15, post-level 15 training isn't really necessary.

Getting Higher Gym Gains
Looking to get higher gym gains? Tired of getting 0.14 strength everytime you use 5 energy in the gym? Consider getting a higher happiness count. The gym will give you more stat gains depending on your happy count. For example, people with 3500+ happy will get around 4 - 5 stat gain every time they train.

So, how do I get a higher happy? Well, you can with the easiest method, getting a better property to live in. A private island with max upgrades should do a nice job. But, for players under level 15, renting a mansion or castle will do just fine. The second method you can use to get more happy is to consume boosters and candy. You should use an Erotic DVD and a few chocolate bars to increase your happy as much as possible, basically maxing out your booster cooldown. After that, consume an Ecstasy to double your happiness. Be quick though, your happy will reset in a few minutes.

On the other hand, having more energy will also help you. Consuming a Xanax pill (watch the drug cooldown!) combined with the steps above will get you maximum stat gains.

Gym Types
Gyms also will give you different gains depending on their type. There are currently 4 gym types, which are standard, light-weight, heavy-weight, and specialist gyms. Standard gyms use 5 energy per train, while light-weight and heavy-weight gyms use 10. Specialist gyms use 25 - 50 energy per train. Generally, when you are able to purchase a membership for a higher tier gym, you'll want to buy it. Watch out for some gyms though, as some completely cannot give you gains for certain stat types. For example, the Beach Bods gym do not give you any Dexterity gains.
